Volatility 75 Index (VIX 75) is a synthetic instrument that simulates the price behavior of a highly volatile financial instrument. It represents a market with a fixed 75% volatility level, meaning price movements are consistently sharp and dynamic.
Volatility 75 is one of the most traded synthetic indices on Deriv, often referred to as the king of synthetic indices because of its intense volatility and liquidity. Many traders love trading it and other synthetic indices because these markets are not influenced by real-world events such as news, interest rates, or economic data. Instead, they are driven by algorithms. This offers traders a stable and transparent environment for applying pure technical analysis.
Another key advantage is that the Volatility 75 market is available 24/7, allowing you to trade any time of day, including weekends. With solid technical knowledge and a good risk management system, you can take advantage of the predictable volatility to find consistent trading opportunities.
In this blog post, I’ll guide you step-by-step on how to open a Volatility 75 Index account and connect it to MT5, so you can start trading this popular synthetic index as a CFD right from your MT5 app.
