Deriv offers a wide range of payment methods that you can use to deposit funds into your account or withdraw your profits. Some of the available options include bank wire, credit/debit cards, e-wallets, and cryptocurrencies.
Among these methods, cryptocurrency transactions have become increasingly popular. Today, almost every broker accepts crypto payments for both deposits and withdrawals — and Deriv is no exception.
In this post, I’ll show you how to deposit funds on Deriv using cryptocurrency.
Deriv supports several major cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Tether (USDT), Litecoin (LTC), and USD Coin (USDC).
Watch the video below for a step-by-step guide on how to deposit on Deriv using crypto.
How to Deposit on Deriv using Cryptocurrency
Here are the steps to deposit on a deriv using cryptocurrency.
Step 1: Login to your Deriv account.
If you haven’t already, visit Deriv’s login page and login to your Deriv account.
Note: Before you can make any deposits on Deriv, you need to create a Deriv real account. We have a separate post on how to create a Deriv Real account.
Step 2: Copy the Crypto Wallet Address from Deriv
The first step is to get the receiving wallet address for the cryptocurrency you want to deposit on Deriv.
To do this, click on the menu icon and select “Cashier.”
After selecting “Cashier,” you will have the option to select “Deposit.”
You will see different deposit methods; select the option to deposit with cryptocurrency.

You will be taken to a page where you can select the cryptocurrency you want to deposit.
If it is your first time depositing with crypto, you will have to add a new crypto account. If you have done that before, just proceed to select the cryptocurrency account you want to deposit with.

In my case, I’ll be depositing Litecoin (LTC). I prefer using Litecoin for both deposits and withdrawals on Deriv because it offers faster processing times and lower transaction fees compared to many other cryptocurrencies.
Note: On Deriv, your deposit method must also be your withdrawal method. This means that if you usually deposit with Litecoin, you’ll also need to withdraw using Litecoin.
Now, go ahead and copy the Litecoin wallet address (or the address of your preferred cryptocurrency) from your Deriv account.

Step 2: Send the Crypto
After getting the wallet address you want to deposit funds on, you need to go to the crypto platform you want to send funds from. For this demonstration, I will be sending funds from the Trust wallet. So, login to your Trust Wallet and select “send.”
Then select LTC which is the coin we want to deposit on Deriv.

A page looking like the one below will be loaded for you to enter the amount you want to withdraw and then the withdrawal addresses (which should be the address you copied from your deriv account).

Then click on Next and enter your Trust Wallet password, and the transaction will start processing.

Step 3: Verify the deposit.
As soon as the coins leave your Trustewallet, Deriv will send you an email about the deposit initiation.
Also, once the deposit is successful, Deriv will send you another email informing you of the successful deposit.
Note: Deriv deposits usually take some time, so exercise some patience for your coins to arrive at your Deriv account.
You can verify that the crypto has been added to your Deriv account by visiting your account dashboard.

Then expand the account from the top right corner to see if the LTC has been added.

That’s all about how to deposit crypto on Deriv.
