How to Add Crash 300 Index on MT5

Have you seen people trading Crash 300 on MT5 and would like to trade it too? Welcome! In this blog post, I’ll show you how to add Crash 300 to MT5 and start trading it.

The Crash 300 Index is a synthetic index offered by Deriv. It generally trends upward but experiences intermittent downward spikes after every 300 ticks.

Aside from the Crash 300 Index, Deriv also offers a range of other Boom and Crash indices, such as Crash 1000, Crash 500, Crash 600, Boom 1000, Boom 500, Boom 300, and several other synthetic indices. In this post, I’ll show you how to add and trade any of the above Boom and Crash indices.

How to Add Crash 300 Index on MT5

Here are steps to add Crash 300 Index on MT5:

Step 1: Create Crash 300 Index account

The Crash 300 Index is a synthetic index instrument offered exclusively by Deriv. So, if you want to trade it, you first need to sign up with Deriv.

To begin, visit the Deriv sign-up page, and you’ll be taken to a page like this:

Enter your email and sign up with them. After signing up, you will be brought to a page that looks like this:

Then you can go ahead and verify your account by clicking on the “get a real account” button below.

Step 2: Create Synthetic Indices trading Account

Deriv which is the broker that offers the Crash 300 index, has different account types: Standard Account, Financial Account, Swap-Free Account, Financial STP Account, Zero Spread Account, and Gold Account. And if you want to trade the Crash 300 index, you need to open a standard trading account.

To begin, switch from option to CFD and then click on the button beside “standard account” as shown below.

Then click on the get button to create a DMT5 account; you will be prompted to choose a password. Note the password because it is what you will use to connect your account to MT5.

Step 3: Connect Your trading account to MT5

After creating a DMT5 account as shown in step 2 above, the next step is to connect the account to MT5. To begin, tap on the open button as shown below.

Then, the DMT5 login details will be opened. These details include the broker, server, login ID, and the DMT5 password. Note down each of those details because you will need it to connect your account to MT5.

After noting the DMT5 login details, Open your MT5 app and click on the plus button as shown on the image below.

 

Then search for “Deriv” and select “Deriv SVG” as the server in the search result;

Then enter your login details as you noted them previously

Then click on the login button, and you will be logged in to your DMT5 account automatically.

Step 4: Add Crash 300 to MT5 Quotes tab

After logging in to your account, you can then go to the quotes tab and tap on the “plus” button shown below to begin adding Crash 300 to the MT5 quote tab.

Then search and select “Crash Boom indices” as shown below;

Then search for crash 300 and tick as shown in the image below. If you want to add other boom and crash indices, you can do the it there.

Once you go back to the quotes tab, you will find Crash 300, and you can then start analyzing and trading it just like the way you trade other instruments on MT5.
